Heins Kim was born in 1969 in Los Angeles. He has exhibited throughout Southern California both solo and as an active member of "The Group", a collection of Los Angeles painters focused on exhibiting new painting in alternative spaces. In 1992, he began investigating the physical and visual processes of printmaking and incorporating them into paintings. Frequently working on sheets of industrial aluminum his surfaces both reflect and absorb--thereby becoming physical metaphors for the entire creative experience. Heins received his BFA in 1994.

Angelica Bergamini for the last three years has lived and worked between Pietrasanta (Italy) and New York.
After graduating from Academia di Belle Arti of Florence she spent some years working as a cameraman in Italy for a private television company
While in Madrid she assisted in the Department of Audiovisual Arts at Reyna Sofia
Contemporary Art Museum.
After deciding to undertake a professional artistic career, she started participating in
gallery exhibitions throughout Italy and in Spain.
In 2004 her work (Stones) were chosen for a collective at Kung Fuhin Art Gallery in Honk Kong. At the same time exhibiting “Clouds’ in a major collective in Munich (Germany) and Milan with works by Yoko Ono, Daniel Spoerri, and many others presented by Pari e Dispari gallery.
Currently presenting her first collection of fashion wear that resembles the shape and texture of her sculpture in a show room in Milan.

“The work is about a material and physical presence."

It is a representation of the single-minded intent and power of the artist hand that seeks to evoke and transcend using simple materials. For me, this work is a return to basics. It is an exploration of limitations set by given parameters and fundamental elements within design to express the deeper aspect of the human condition.
